Sara Carline serà l'encarregada de portar una nova activitat a la Biblioteca. Amb el nom de Travellers' Tales (Traditional Scotish Stories), el divendres 21 de febrer ens introduirà a Escòcia explicant com vivien i la importància de les històries en la vida dels viatger. Tot seguit ens endinsarà en un món màgic d'històries ambientades a les terres altes i a les illes d'Escòcia on les foques es poden convertir en persones, les fades surten de sota els turons i el 'Broonie' ens pot visitar.
After a brief introduction to Scotland, we'll take a look at the travellers themselves -how they used to live and the importance of stories in their lives for both children and adults. We'll also go over some important vocabulary to help with comprehension. Then you'll be able to enter into a magical world of stories set in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, where seals can turn into people, Faireis com out from under the hills and the Broonie might pay a visit.
